Pune’s Edupreneur Girish Prabhu conferred with Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Commendation for Education Award
ReTHINK INDIA Foundation, New Delhi invited Mr. Girish Prabhu, Founder & CEO GurujiWorld Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to be a part of the eduCONGREGATION which was concluded on 6th of July 2019 at India International Center, New Delhi commemorating the 119th birth anniversary of Dr. Mookerjee.
The Public Reading cum Review of the National Education Policy 2019 was concluded in this gathering of educationist, policy makers, industry veterans, teachers, principals and edupreneurs from all over India. The cross cutting themes of Technology in Education and the New Architecture of Educational Regulation, specific themes pertaining to School Education and Part-II pertaining to Higher Education were discussed and deliberated.
At the end of this the conferring ceremony of the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Commendations for Education was concluded. Madam Meenakshi Lekhi, Hon’ble Member Parliament from New Delhi did the honors onto an eminent league of Educationists.
Mr. Girish Prabhu, an Eduprenuer from Pune, was conferred with Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Commendation for Education for his immense contribution to the field of Indian Education for championing the cause of localization of educational content using digital technology in vernacular schools in Maharashtra.
Mr. Girish has been working as an edupreneur with focus on correctly blending the use of technology in education, catering vernacular and underserved schools in Maharashtra and empowering them with quality digital education. With localization of school contents using BLOOMS taxonomy approach to break the norm of rote digital learning via long videos, GurujiWorld’s GKlass e-Learning App with its innovative LMTP content design pedagogy, has successfully addressed the challenge of student attention span, simplified the learning process and helped in deeper understanding of the concepts.
Rural teachers are getting empowered using GKlass e-Learning App by blending technology correctly in classroom pedagogy, as they are now able to create and add additional Teacher Learning Material to the concepts taught, measure concept learning effectively using features of the GKlass App. Further he is now exploring introduction of design thinking approach in vernacular content design for improving learning outcomes for low order and mid order children. He mentioned that he has been supported by Mrs. Sanjeevanee Prabhu along with a great team of passionate people at GurujiWorld, who are contributing in achieving this goal of quality education through technology and e-Learning.
