In-House Science Fair by GSocial CSR Team
GSocial CSR team of Gurujiworld Technologies organized an in-house model making competition on Tuesday, 22nd Oct 2019 in the Pune office. Since such an event was organized for the first time, all the team members were working enthusiastically. The goal of this activity was to support the schools with such ideas to build critical thinking in the children and to develop their interest in subjects like Science and Math. Total of 15 models were presented by 11 team members. These models were based on major concepts such as pressure, electricity, magnetism, measurement, solar systems, air pollution, fraction, etc. Each model was mapped to a specific grade and topic. As these were low cost models, they were attention grabbing. They were cost-effective and made out of material which is easily available. Concept clarity, material used, difficulty level, presentation skills etc. were some of the judging criteria based on which the judges evaluated the models. Mr. Adesh Patil (Master Teacher Trainer, STEM Educator) won the prize for the models he made to explain concepts of air pressure.
