Population of India is huge and there is a huge scarcity of skilled teachers which
leads to one teacher engaged in teaching more than one subject and covering multiple
standards as well. Today development in technology and innovation is allowing us
to redesign the training delivery domain and handle the challenge of scarcity of
teachers innovatively. The innovative approach taken for this challenge is using
the medium of computers, internet and connectivity between these devices to deliver
live training online. This innovative concept of educating students using Expert
trainers is terms as Live Virtual Classroom (LVC). Thus, 'virtual classroom' refers
to instruction in a learning environment where teacher and student are separated
by time or space, or both, and the teacher provides course content through course
management applications, multimedia resources, the Internet, video conferencing,
etc. Students receive the content and communicate with the teacher via the same
technologies. The nature of virtual classrooms means that, in terms of access, the
geographic location of student’s vis-à-vis the Expert trainers is not an issue.
